What is the best way to check my design (including my details)?
Most of BoscoBear’s designs can be personalised with information including your child’s name and other details. As such, we have a preview function to confirm these details. When a product is personalised, it automatically allows you to preview the product with your unique fields. This is the perfect place to check spelling and other elements (especially your child’s name). The artwork in the preview function gives you an idea of the end product, however we may do some further formatting and colour adjustment when the file goes to print (technical speak) as part of our quality control checks, therefore ensuring your design prints perfectly. For extra certainty we have a PDF proof (an electronic proof) that you can include into your order for further piece of mind (see PDF proofing function for more information)
What if my design looks different on different computers?
Sometimes different search engines/web browsers, computer colour profiles, computer fonts and computer screens can affect the appearance of a design (especially with colour and formatting). At BoscoBear we have tried to minimise these variances as much as possible, however variances from computer to computer may still exist. PDF proof what does it mean? How does it work?
More technical speak from the BoscoBear team! In a nutshell, the BoscoBear PDF proofing function is an additional step for those who want to be extra sure of their design prior to us printing your order. After order confirmation, a BoscoBeardesigner will send through an electronic proof of the artwork file. The BoscoBear team will then produce the final artwork upon your separate email approval. The BoscoBear team will not print the artwork without your approval.
